Catty Shack - Cat Treat - Catnip Flavor (4oz)

Catty Shack is made by JRB Foods Inc., in Sharon Center, Ohio. The box is shaped like a small milk carton. This treat is moist and soft, and comes in little chunks. When you shake the box, the cats will come, but  they will not touch the snack. The Catperts usually love cat nip, but not this one.

Catperts Pixels & Peachy Always Sits Together

Catty Shack makes two other flavors – shrimp and tuna, and chicken. The Catperts checked on line and both seem to have good reviews on their taste. We will pick some up in the future and try them out ourselves because that is the only way to find out if we will love it or not.

Catty Shack cannot be found at most supermarkets. We found ours at Walmart. The price is reasonable. But no matter how low the price it, the money is wasted if no one eats it. Catpert Pixels gave a meow by her treat cabinet ready to try something new. When she was offered this treat she did not even sniff it, or want to give it a try. Instead Pixels went to go sit back in front of her treat cabinet and continued to cry! Pixels did not find this treat appealing and does not reccomend it to any of her cat friends out there.

  2. Bought a Catty Shack at Walmart. I have 2 cats, one looked at me like I was a trader and wouldn't "speak" to me the rest of the day. Stupidly, I mixed it with cat food, the other cat ate it and promptly threw it up all over my carpet. He didn't have much to "say" to me for a while either. Maybe someone should alert Walmart??

  4. Our cats are crazy for these! All 8 of them, 5 boys, 3 girls. They love all 3 flavors. They appreciate it if they are broken in half for them. I was looking for them online which led me here. :0)

  5. I don't know about your cat, but my cat loves the Catty Shack treats, especially the catnip flavor. She wasn't much into treats until I tried the Catty Shack and now they're a must. She'll let me trade her catches for one of them. She eats so many of them (shame on me) I'd like to find more information on the nutritional content.

  6. My cats and kitten love Catty Shack and come running from anywhere they are hiding as soon as they hear me pick up the carton. My kitten will eat as many as I give her. She would eat up the whole box if I let her. never in my life have I seen cats respond so favorably to cat treats. From 1 to 10 I'd rate this treat a 15. Best price I've seen on any cat treat, only 1.23 a carton at Wal-Mart. I wish they would carry it everywhere.
Thank you JRB foods Inc. for making this great healthy snack!

  9. My cat Flower loves the catnip and one in the red box, tuna, I think. She absolutely hates the chicken (yellow box). I will buy the catnip and tuna flavors when I can find them. For some reason, the 3 Wal Marts between where I live and work seem not to be carrying them. :(

  10. These are the only treats my cat will eat. She is a very picky eater. We used to buy them at our local Walmart, but now they aren't carrying them. We bought some online from Amazon, but it was WAY more expensive than what we paid for to get them at Walmart, and the only flavor we were able to get online was the Tuna and Shrimp. My cat LOVES the catnip ones, is okay with the chicken ones, but hates these new Tuna and Shrimp ones. She will not even try any other treat we buy for her. She doesn't just come when we shake the Catty Shack box, she will actually find the box and pick it up, rattle it, then drop it to get our attention. If we don't give her a treat at that point, she keeps doing it, drops it off tables, or slowly moves it closer and closer to us by repeatedly picking up the top of the carton in her mouth and then dropping it a few inches from where it was.
